Dr David Charlesworth is a highly experienced General Perioperative and Respiratory Physician with widespread intensive care experience. David is also a qualified and practicing Intensivist. He is committed to providing the best personalised care for his patients; in particular in developing treatment strategies to deliver optimum clinical success for patients presenting with complex medical concerns.

In 1991, Dr Charlesworth completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and followed this with a Bachelor of Medicine (Honours). David is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the College of Intensive Care Medicine. His areas of interest have led him to completing the European Diploma in Intensive Care Medicine (EDIC) in 2006 and a Post Graduate Diploma in Perioperative and Critical Care Echocardiography. To cement his academic highlights, David has completed training at top hospitals in Cambridge, London and Melbourne.
